The family of Prime Minister Dorin Recean's family earned about 7 million lei last year. His wealth declaration was filed with the National Integrity Authority, IPN reports.
According to the data submitted to ANI, Dorin Recean earned an income of 243.3 thousand lei in 2024 from his salary as prime minister. His wife, who is employed at Moldova Agroindbank, earned a salary income of 5.2 million lei. Dorin Recean and his wife earned 96.4 thousand lei from deposits in financial institutions.
Similarly, Dorin Recean received dividends from Performa SRL and U.S. Food Network S.R.L. totaling 1.2 million lei and over 162 thousand lei for travel expenses paid by the State Chancellery.
Dorin Recean declares three pieces of land as his property. An intravilan land of 1,200 square meters, with a market value of 5,000 euro and another intravilan land of 4.23 acres, with a market value of 400 thousand lei. Similarly, the Prime Minister owns an agricultural land of 1.2 hectares with a market value of 60 thousand lei.
The Prime Minister declares ownership of a 271-square-meter dwelling house, a 97-square-meter villa and another real estate of 16 square meters. The residential house has a market value of 4.5 million lei, the villa - 55 thousand euro and the real estate - 65 thousand lei.
Dorin Recean owns a 2016 BMW car with a market value of over 19 thousand euros. The Prime Minister declares 20 current accounts in different banks in Moldova and abroad, with over 1.1 million lei and over 100 thousand euros.
During the declaration period, the Prime Minister reports expenses of over 21 thousand euros for rental services in the Netherlands. He also mentions that he sent financial assistance to family members in the amount of about 56 thousand euros, 432 thousand lei and 16 thousand pounds.
Dorin Recean is the Prime Minister of the country since February 2023.
