Dorin Chirtoaca will be reelected Mayor General of Chisinau, the leader of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu asserted, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. ”In 2007 everyone had their own programs, but I said that Dorin Chirtoaca will win. They did not believe me. Who wants can doubt it, but Dorin Chirtoaca will be elected mayor again,” Mihai Ghimpu said, when asked by the journalists if the current mayor of Chisinau has chances of being reelected. Recently, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said he will run for the same post in the local elections of this summer. The leader of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Serafim Urecheanu said he also might run in the elections for mayor of Chisinau. He had held this position for 11 years. Serafim Urecheanu also said that they started to select candidates for mayors of a number of settlements of Moldova.
