The pro-European and unionist parties should join forces to mobilize the people in the upcoming parliamentary elections and score a victory, the first deputy chairman of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoaca stated in a program on TV8 channel. According to him, the Liberal Party, together with the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” and the Party “Action and Solidarity” and other parties that will want, will have to create an anti-regime movement, IPN reports.
Dorin Chirtoaca said it is now essential for the leaders of the parties to mobilize the people as not much time remained until the legislative elections of this yearend. The integrity and meritocracy filters used by the PPPDA and PAS to accept new members into the team are good, but these can delay the process. The mobilization of the population is now vital. “The political leaders should assume decisions. Maia Sandu knows who she has near in the team. We, in the Liberal Party, know who we have near. Those who remained resist. Let’s combine forces and go on,” stated the Liberal heavyweight.
According to him, the parties that defend the interests of the citizens now should switch over from roundtable discussions to institutionalized discussions so as to reach a consensus.
