The Liberal Party candidate for the capital's mayoralty, Dorin Chirtoacă, addressed the representatives of the media and civil society, urging them to organize a wide electoral debate, which would allow the participation of all candidates.

"The debates can last even half a day. The residents of the capital should vote based on competence and projects put forward by candidates, not based on large campaign expenditures or media manipulations”, said the president of the Liberal Party.

Additionally, Dorin Chirtoacă issued a debate challenge to his electoral opponents Ion Ceban and Andrei Năstase.
