Dorin Chirtoaca: I'm in litigation with all thieves who want to appropriate municipal property

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca will take part in the hearings concerning the summer camp for children located in Ulmu village and the claims of a company for 22 million lei from the Chisinau budget and the budget of the Electric Transport Company. The mayor announced his decision at Monday's meeting of the City Hall, after finding out details about the trials, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the head of the Legal Division Diana Gurschi, the summer camp in Ulmu, which includes eight two-story buildings and two ponds, is claimed by a company that won the case at the Economic Court of Appeals. “We did not receive answers to our requests for the company to provide documents of ownership. Its representative presented in court only two copies of a contract and the court ruled in favor of this company,” Diana Gurschi said. The case will be examined by the Supreme Court of Justice on May 27. “I'm in litigation with the thieves who want to appropriate the municipal property that belongs to the residents of Chisinau, while the judges, instead of doing justice, take decisions basing on two copies of a contract,” Chirtoaca said dissatisfied. Diana Gurschi announced that the two suits filed by the company Electroplus, which claims historical debts of 7 million lei from the City Hall and of 12 million lei from the Electric Transport Company, as well as the City Hall's lawsuit to review the applications will be examined by the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Justice on June 10. Gurschi considers that the company faces internal problems as the lawyer who represented it earlier gave up, while the second lawyer did not come to the last hearing.
