Dorin Chirtoaca: I'm concerned that some colleagues say presentation of videos about Valeriu Boboc's death can affect investigation

Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the videos about the death of Valeriu Boboc that were made public in a news conference on April 1 show the truth and help the investigation, Info-Prim Neo reports. Today, April 2, Dorin Chirtoaca went to the Prosecutor General's Office (PG) to give testimony in the case concerning Valeriu Boboc's death. He made statements for the press before entering the PG. “I'm concerned about the fact that some of my colleagues say the presentation of the images about the death of Valeriu Boboc can affect the investigation,” the mayor said. “The videos show the truth and the people must know it. The members of the Alliance for European Integration promised to reveal the truth and were to do so earlier, if they knew it,” said Dorin Chirtoaca, who is the vice president of the Liberal Party. He underlined he found out about the images 24 hours before he held the conference to present them. Today, the prosecutors will also question Communist MPs Vadim Misin and Iurie Stoicov and again the former head of state Vladimir Voronin, the president of the Communists Party.
