Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca called upon the inhabitants of the capital city to help remove the snow from the streets near their houses as more snow will fall during the day and the coming night. The economic entities are asked to clean the areas near their head offices, Info-Prim Neo reports. There is a layer of about 30 cm of snow on the streets in Chisinau. According to the authorities, the streets are cleaned from snow continuously, but the road workers do not manage to clean all of them. The mayor urged the Chisinau residents to avoid using their personal cars and go by public units of transport so as to ease traffic in the city. Thirty special vehicles are cleaning the streets and spreading antiskid material.
