The residents of Chisinau are urged to donate by a bench for the parks of the capital city. A label showing who donated the bench will be attached to this. The project “Donate-A-Bench” was launched by the public association “Parks of the Future” , the Chisinau City hall has said, quoted by IPN.

The project consists in the involvement of the inhabitants of Chisinau and business entities in outfitting alleys with benches in public sectors, which will be later donated to the municipality. The goal is to sensitize the townspeople of Chisinau to the necessity of protecting the public urban furniture.

Those who want to donate a bench can choose the place where it will be located from among five alleys, in each of the five districts of Chisinau. The donors will sign a bilateral donation agreement with the public association “Parks of the Future”. Based on this accord, the donated bench will be set up in the place chosen by the donor within ten days.
