The State Hydrometeorology Service extended the yellow code advisory for heat. Daytime temperatures on August 11-13 will vary between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, IPN reports.
On dog days it is recommended avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, drinking more water and staying in the shadow. The high temperatures pose a threat to children and persons suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
Weather forecasters said the hot weather without precipitation will persist until the end of next week. Temperatures will fall under 30 degrees Celsius next Friday, August 16.
