The social campaign initiated by Communist MP Igor Dodon “I Love Moldova” will mark the 20th anniversary of Moldova's independence by installing billboards across the country with the message “I am a citizen of Moldova and I'm proud of it. Twenty years is only a start”. “We continue this I Love Moldova Campaign, which was launched several months ago, and soon you will see billboards throughout the country with the campaign's slogan, which is meant to mark the 20th anniversary of Moldova's independence”, Igor Dodon told a press conference. Dodon noted that the campaign enjoys the support of many prominent persons as well as of 15,000 ordinary members. He announced that the Campaign will soon become a public association with a registered brand “I Love Moldova”. Dodon didn't reveal the costs involved in the campaign, promising to declare everything in his income statement in due time. He also said that he was not the only contributor. Igor Dodon launched the I Love Moldova Campaign on 7 April 2011.
