The answer provided by Speaker Adrian Candu represents disrespect for the protesting people, the leaders of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi and the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon said in the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports. The two politicians underlined they will not accept to meet with the Head of Parliament on January 25.
“This is disrespect. We will provide an answer as swiftly and tell him that we will not accept his invitation and will not yield. We are waiting for Candu to come to the protest that will be mounted in the Great National Assembly Square this Sunday. We wil continue to protest and will exert pressure on this government so that it capitulates. They have no other solutions than engaging us in interminable discussions,” stated Igor Dodon.
Renato Usatyi said he possesses information that the political corruption continues so as to secure at least 63 votes for electing the head of state in March. He noted he will personally look for the money needed to organize parliamentary elections.
The two politicians said they do their best to maintain order during the protests, but the government intends to cause the peaceful protests to degenerate into violence. “According to my information, about 20 instigators will be infiltrated into the crowd. I also know that Plahotniuc ordered that everything possible is made for us, the three leaders of the protesters, to quarrel,” stated Renato Usatyi.
