Dodon gives details about formation of 'group of unaffiliated MPs'
Igor Dodon provided details about the constitution of the "group of unaffiliated MPs". He told the press that the statements made by Vadim Misin in Parliament must be regarded as an announcement, not as a proposal because the legislative body’s vote is not needed for creating a group, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The group of the unaffiliated MPs will be led by Zinaida Greceanyi, while Tatiana Botnariuc will be its secretary. “We will come to terms and will submit the bill. The status of parliamentary group offers us more opportunities,” stated Zinaida Greceanyi.
Vadim Misin told the journalists that the formation of a joint parliamentary group with the MPs of the group of Socialists does not mean that the parties will join. Igor Dodon said they do not yet consider possible fusions and blocs.
The group of unaffiliated MPs will include the former Communist lawmakers Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanyi, Veronica Abramciuc, Ion Ceban (of the group of Socialists), Vadim Misin, Oleg Babenko, and Tatiana Botnariuc (of the group of “Renastere-Vozrajdenie” Party).
