Dodon appointed national coordinator for CIS matters
Igor Dodon, Senior Deputy Premier and concurrently Minister of Economy and Trade, was appointed by the Government as Moldova's coordinator for the Community of Independent States (CIS), Info-Prim Neo reports.
The regulation on the CIS national coordinators, adopted in Bishkek on October 10, 2008, was submitted to Parliament for ratification.
The main duty of a national coordinator is to timely present documents for the strategic development of the CIS, to monitor the activity of the authorities in this respect and to engage in implementing these documents.
