Documents to work in EU forged in improvised laboratory in Chisinau

Four men from Chisinau are investigated for counterfeiting documents, including European ones, in an improvised laboratory for facilitating the applicants’ departure to the EU for work purposes. For their services, they asked for €150 to €500, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, 16 searches were carried out in the cars and homes of suspects. There were seized electronic and printed samples of such documents, stamps and notes with identification data of clients.

The men aged between 33 and 45 were placed under arrest based on court decisions. Two of them had been earlier held accountable for forging and selling counterfeit documents.
