The Reintegration Bureau denies the information posted in the press claiming that there is a plan to settle the Transnistrian conflict through federalization, reports Info-Prim Neo. “The document circulated in the press is evidently a fake. The emergence of this “plan” may well be characterized as a disinformation attempt, meant to confuse and undermine the efforts put by the international partners into the promotion of the Transnistrian settlement”, mentions a communique from the Reintegration Bureau. The communique adds that the attempt to link this action to the Irish OSCE presidency. “We think that this pseudo-plan is not worth public attention and should be disregarded”. OSCE Mission to Moldova spokesperson Per Enerud also released a statement that mentions that the “document claiming to be a plan of the Organization on Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on the Transnistrian settlement, published by www.regnum.ru, on Wednesday, August 15, is a fake”.
