A woman from Floresti district entered delivery at home, being assisted by the family doctor only. The road to the settlement is blocked and there is no telephone connection. Director of the Chisinau Mother and Child Center Stefan Gatcan has told Info- Prim Neo that the obstetrician-gynecologist of the Floresti District Hospital is trying to get to the woman by a snowplow provided by the Floresti Emergencies Service. “We are on the alert. The Premier was informed about the situation. We don’t know yet the woman’s age and if it is her first delivery. It is good that her blood pressure is stable,” said Stefan Gatcan. He also said that no deliveries at home had been reported during the night.
