Doctors struggle to save man who drank methyl alcohol
Doctors of Saint Trinity Hospital in Chisinau are trying hard to save a 25-yer-old man who drank about 300 grams of methyl alcohol.
Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that when the man was brought to the hospital he had hallucinations. He told the doctors he bought alcohol from a man. If he survives, he could lose his sight. The police are investigating the case.
A homeless man was found dead in a demolished building located on Bucuresti St, near Gheorghe Asachi High School. The man was holding an empty bottle. Another homeless man sleeping on Vasile Lupu St was taken to the hospital with general hypothermia.
On December 2, the Chisinau Ambulance Service had dealt with 704 emergencies, including 68 cases of acute viral infection, 70 cases of trauma, six strokes and 11 deliveries.
