The national football team of Moldova on October 9 plays a new match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying competition, against Ireland, IPN reports.
“We must admit that we had a very hard match against Serbia. Only today will we train before the encounter with Ireland. I understand that there are many people who are dissatisfied with the results, but I’m patient. I started my first term in office with defeats too, but results came later. I’m glad to see changes in the play of the team. The attitude at the national team is now different,” stated Moldova manager Igor Dobrovolski.
Moldova ranks last in the group following defeats suffered to Wales (0-4) and Serbia (0-3). The match against Ireland takes place at the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau on October 9, starting at 9.45pm.
