Representatives of the Government’s Communication and Protocol Division said the agenda of Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița does not yet include a meeting with Dmitry Kozak.
For now, a meeting with the Russian official was not added to the agenda of Speaker Igor Grosu either, said sources in the Parliament’s General Communication and Public Relations Division.
The last time Dmitry Kozak visited Chisinau in June 2019, about two weeks before the Democratic Party conceded power. He then said that he supported the idea of forming a parliamentary coalition between the Party of Action and Solidarity and the Party of Socialists. He noted he came to Moldova before important political decisions with an impact for the immediate period were to be taken in order to familiarize all the political powers with Russia’s position.
