Djoker Chisinau suffered a 3-4 defeat in the first match played against Belgium’s Perwez within Group B of the Beach Soccer Euro Winners Cup 2017 that is taking place in Nazare, Portugal, IPN reports.

The goals for the team trained by Ian Iacovenco were scored by Andrei Negara, Sergiu Nicolaichuc and Victor Iordache. Moldova’s champion competes in Group B alongside Viareggio of Italy, Russia’s BSC Lokomotiv and LSA Perwez of Belgium.

Djoker plays the next match today, May 30, against the current holder of the trophy Viareggio. In last year’s competition, the team from Chisinau was eliminated in the 1/8 finals.
