For the fifth consecutive year, CS Djoker Chisinau became the national beach soccer champion. The team trained by Ian Iakovenko beat Olimpia-Stels Balti 1-0 in the decisive match. The only goal was scored by Leonid Podlesnov in the 18th minute, IPN reports.

The lineup of Djoker also included Ruslan Istrati, Grigorii Cojocari, Alexandru Tambalist, Sergiu Nicolaiciuc, Victor Iordachi, Alexandr Ariefiev, Andrei Negara, Denis Negru, Vitalii Budigai, and Yevgheny Frolov.

Avantul Nimoreni ranked third. The winning teams got diplomas, medals and cups from the Beach Soccer Association of Moldova.
