The Democratic Party (PDM) will initiate a centralized program to assess the worth of the land of every owner during a year. A common tax in agriculture will be introduced afterward, based on the land reliability results, deputy head of the PDM Valentina Buliga said when answering questions put by residents of Tocuz village of Calarasi district, where the Express of the Democratic Party travelled, IPN reports.
Valentina Buliga stated that the common tax will ensure correct implementation so that all the land owners are favored, it is said in a communiqué of the party.
“You have plans related to agriculture and companies, but we, in Tocuz, do not understand what land belongs to us following the dismemberment of kolkhozes and the partition of land. They still move us from one plot to another,” a villager said in the discussions with the team of Democrats.
In Cucuruzeni, Orhei, MP Raisa Apolschii spoke about the PDM’s measures aimed at growing agriculture. “We must continue giving subsidies to our farmers and make effort for these subsidies to become competitive,” she stated.
The lawmaker told the locals about the Democrats’ intention to encourage the involvement of the young people in agriculture by providing non-reimbursable loans of up to €10,000.
The Democrats are on a national tour to Moldova’s towns and villages. They discuss with the people the measures that need to be taken to ensure the people’s welfare. The people’s proposals and initiatives collected within the PDM’s Express will form part of the party’s priorities after the November 30 elections.
