The first meeting this year of the political representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol, Victor Osipov and Nina Shtanski, will take place on March 12. This will be the first meeting since Victor Osipov’s appointment, IPN reports.

The agenda of the discussions is open. The sides are to propose subjects that they consider important. One of these could be the extension of the agreement on the movement of freight trains through the Transnistrian segment, reached in 2012.

The meeting will take place at the head office of the OSCE Mission in Chisinau at 12 noon. Afterward, the officials will make statements for the press.
