The Moldovan young people aged between 16 and 26 will benefit from discount cards when Moldova joins the Partial Agreement on the Youth Card. The cards provide discounts of 10% and more, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”The young people who possess these cards will obtain privileges for transport, culture, education and entertainment. This agreement is part of the student exchange procedure implemented in a number of EU member states and of a number of projects intended for the youth,” Minister of Youth and Sport Ion Cebanu said in the February 17 sitting of Parliament. Those who want to obtain discount cards will have to file an application to the Youth Ministry and pay a tax that wasn’t set yet. The economic entities that will become this project’s partners will be elected by contest. The bill on the joining of the Partial Agreement on the Youth Card was passed in first reading.
