The Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Dirk Schuebel had a meeting with the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk. The Transnistrian press reported that the meeting took place at Shevchuk’s residence, Info-Prim Neo reports. One of the main subjects for discussion was the development of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to the prospects and plans for implementing the important social and humanitarian projects of the European organizations on the left side of the Nistru. The two officials also discussed the preparation for the round of talks in 5+2 format that is to take place in Ukraine’s Lvov on February 17-18.
