The director of the Chisinau restaurant where dozens of persons poisoned themselves at a wedding party last week was put under arrest for 72 hours, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office, the director and three representatives of the restaurant’s administration were questioned, being suspected of keeping, selling and providing unsafe products and services that caused the death of a person.

A number of 45 persons who poisoned themselves at the wedding party are now in hospitals in Chisinau, Ungheni and Straseni. Among them are two children. The state of all the patients is stable. A man aged 38 from Ungheni, who was a doctor-pharmacist by profession, died on September 8 after eating foods at the wedding party held at that restaurant.
