A number of ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps working in Chisinau expressed interest in the results of the investigations conducted by the National Anticorruption Center, voicing hope that the cases will be examined in an objective and professional manner. The message was transmitted during a visit paid to the Center on May 26, IPN reports.

According to a communique of the National Anticorruption Center, the diplomats expressed readiness to provide consultative assistance and support in some of the investigations of the Center, saying they closely monitor the institution’s activities and are waiting for solutions in a number of cases of public interest.

The Center’s director informed the diplomats about the carried out investigations, saying there were constituted working groups consisting of prosecutors, prosecution officers and experts from different fields for swifter examining the loud cases.

Offices of the National Anticorruption Center form part of an anticorruption working group that includes representatives of EU embassies working in Moldova. Its goal is to assist and monitor the anticorruption activities of the Center.
