The Cabinet approved the regulations concerning the organization and functioning of the Diplomatic Institute that was created by a decision of July 11, 2018 as part of the System of Diplomatic Institutions of the Republic of Moldova to continuously enhance the quality of the diplomatic service, IPN reports.

Under the regulations, the Diplomatic Institute will identify the areas of national interest and will think up professional development courses for employees of the diplomatic service.

The Institute will be financed with the budget allocations set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. At request, it could provide courses for employees of institutions from the public administration, the NGO and private sectors whose activities are related to international institutions and foreign policy, on a contract basis.
