The second edition of the Diplomatic Bazaar will take place in Brussels during December 8-10 in the Marble Hall of the Free University of Brussels, organized under the common patronage of the Embassy of Moldova and the Embassy of Romania in Belgium. The visitors will discover identity tourism, clean and correct journalism, initiation painting, contemporary literature, refined handmade items, fashion designers who combine traditional with neo-traditional, IPN reports, with reference to the organizers.

The event was organized based on the “Slow Movement” concept and has a strong educational feature. It will host workshops centering on essential aspects of the “Slow Movement” concept, such as Slow Tourism&Slow Food, Slow Journalism, Slow Manufacturing, Slow Fashion, Slow Reading, Slow Art, and Slow Savors.

The special invitee of this year’s edition is Via Transilvanica – DrumulCareUneste – which was voted by over 27,000 citizens as the best heritage project at the European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards 2023.

Every edition of the Diplomatic Bazaar renders homage to an exceptional personality, an emblematic figure who marked European and universal science and culture. After the success of the first edition that celebrated the legacy of Petrache Poenaru, the Diplomatic Bazaar will now disseminate the exceptional stories of journalists Angela Brașoveanu, Doina Pânzari, Anda Vahnovan and ethnographer Varvara Buzilă.

The official opening of the event in the Marble Hall of the Free University of Brussels will take place on December 8, at 1 p.m., in the presence of the ambassadors of Romania and Moldova to Belgium.
