Termocom is going to get into a huge financial crisis, which will generate the biggest losses in the company's history, if the situation does not change soon, and unless the Chisinau City Hall pays fully, till October 10, its debt of 220 million lei, the heat distributor's manager, Dionisie Antocel, told a news conference on Wednesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Antocel, Termocom's debts to heat suppliers amount to 238 million lei. “The City Hall's debts to Termocom generate Termocom's debts to Moldova-Gaz, and this leads to raising Moldova's debts to Russia, from which the natural gas is imported,” Termocom's manager has said. “We should not care whether the people have or do not have money, Termocom is a company which needs cover its expenditures,” Dionisie Antocel said. He accuses the City Hall of populism and lack of interest to resume the dialogue. “What is going on now is a the result of reckless actions of the Chisinau City Hall, and personally, of misters Chirtoaca (general mayor) , Ghimpu (Mihai Ghimpu, PL leader and municipal councilor) and Furtuna (Mihai Furtuna, deputy mayor)”, Dionisie Antocel said. He added Termocom does not need the municipality's help tocollect fthe debts from the population, rising to 19 million lei. According to the City Hall its debt to the heat distributor is 197 million lei. The heating charge, as calculated by Termocom and approved of by Energy Regulator ANRE is 842.82 lei. According to the City Hall the charge is 723.84 lei per Gcal.
