Dinamo Tiraspol won the Men’s Volleyball Cup of Moldova after easily beating Olimp Ungheni by 3-0. The final was played in the gym “Alexia” in Chisinau, IPN reports.

Dinamo won by 26-24, 25-22 and 25-19. “I think it will be much harder for us in the championship,” Dinamo Tiraspol player Vladimir Stelmah told the journalists.

Finalist Olimp Ungheni returned to the internal competitions after a pause of three years. It is trained by the president of the Moldovan Volleyball Federation Artur Romascan. “I have to become involved everywhere and even to train the national team. Nobody in this country needs sports. Such a situation is typical of all the kinds of sport, except for football,” stated Artur Romascan.

In the small final, Dinamo Chisinau beat Speranţa Vulcanesti by 3-0, by 26-24, 25-19, and 25-21.
