The first matches of the playoffs of the national volleyball championships were played. Current champion Dinamo-MAI beat Tighina 3-0, IPN reports.

In the other match, General Asigurari defeated USM 3-0. “Our leader Deonis Gorea is ill and could not play this game. It was hard without him,” USM coach Alexandru Dudicov told a news conference.

The national championship leaders Dinamo-MAI and General Asigurari will also meet in the Super Cup of Moldova. The match will be played at the Dinamo hall on March 31.
