Dinamo Chisinau became Moldova’s men’s volleyball champion for the third time. The team trained by Valentin Pereu secured the title after beating Dinamo Tiraspol in the decisive match of the final, IPN reports.
Dinamo Chisinau led by 2-0 after winning the first two sets by 27-25 and 25-20. The hosts yet won the next two sets by 25-21 and 26-24, but in the decisive set the team from Chisinau was better and won by 15-13.
Dinamo Chisinau obtained the third title of Moldova’s champion in the last four years. Last year, the team didn’t take part in the national championship, while coach Valentin Pereu trained in Romania.
The bronze this season was won by Olimp Ungheni.
