The bust of Moldovan ruler Dimitrie Cantemir will be unveiled in Comrat. Sources in the press service of Gagauzia’s executive committee have told IPN that the event is dedicated to the 340th anniversary of the birth of the remarkable Moldovan statesman.

The unveiling of the monument was scheduled for October 26. Representatives of the Moldovan administration will be invited to the solemn ceremony.

The bust was made in Moscow by sculptor Constantin Constantinov, by order of the Gagauz executive committee.
