The tents of the Dignity Town set up in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau are being relocated to sidewalks. The location is changed for the period of the repair works carried out in the Square and on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd. One of the leaders of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” Chiril Motpan has told IPN that the decision was taken in a meeting with his colleagues, IPN reports.
Chiril Motpan noted that the Dignity Town cannot disappear because it represents a symbol of the people’s protests against the corrupt government and captured state. However, the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” does not intend to hamper the repair works executed in the Square.
The Chisinau City Hall announced that the section of Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd between the streets Pushkin and Banulescu-Bodoni, including the Great National Assembly Square, will be closed to traffic for two weeks in connection with road repair works.
