Digital signature will be used on notarial documents as well, most probably from this spring. Prime Minister Iurie Leanca on February 10 made an order instructing that a relevant initiative should be ready by March 15, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca requested the Ministry of Justice, the e-Government Center and the Special Telecommunications Center to formulate and propose amendments to the regulations concerning the filling out of notarial documents and the compiling of notarial registers and to other relevant documents so that the digital signature can be used in notarial activity.
The Premier asked to be informed in written form about the implementation of the norms laid down in the regulations concerning the procedures for ensuring transparency in decision making and of the given amendments.
The digital signature on notarial documents will facilitate the obtaining of notarial information, will reduce the costs and will exclude bureaucracy, it is said in the communiqué.
