Digital offensive of the youth
The Young Journalist’s Center of Moldova (CTJM) invites Moldovan young persons to take part in a contest themed “Digital Offensive of the Youth” dedicated to the April 5 parliamentary elections, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Send us the best movies/video animations, graphical images and pictures made by you that aim to promote the conscious participation of the youth in the April 5 elections and you can win prizes that you cannot refuse,” the Center says in a communiqué.
The materials for the contest and the CV of the applicant must be sent to the email address formular.ctj@gmail.com or by ordinary mail (on USB flash, CD or DVD) to the address: Moldova, Chisinau, MD-2012, 22 Pushkin St, office 520. The deadline for applications is March 25, 2009, 18.00. The movies/video animations should not be longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. The graphical images should be accessible in white-black and color format, while the photos should contain a clear message. All the materials must be apolitical. The authors of the best works will be offered money awards.
The materials for the contest will be placed on the Center’s official website (www.ctj.md) and will be broadcast through social networks and sites that enable to load videos and photos. The winners of the contest will be announced on April 10, 2009 at an award ceremony.
The contest is part of the “Youth Promote and Support Conscious Participation in Elections” project implemented by the Young Journalist’s Center from the financial resources of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED, the U.S.) as part of the Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections “Coalition 2009”.
