A fire broke out at a storehouse situated in Ciocana district of Chisinau on June 7. Six firefighting teams struggled to contain the blaze, IPN reports, quoting the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations.



The flames engulfed a storehouse with 700 liters of diesel fuel inside located on Vadul lui Vodă St. The fire was localized in the afternoon. During the operation, the rescuers took two gas cylinders out of the building, avoiding an explosion this way.



The fire destroyed the storehouse and a “Mitsubishi” car. No person was hurt. The circumstances and cause of fire are yet to be found out.
