Two men aged 56 and 57 from Chisinau will be investigated for illegally selling oil products. The police found two fuel distribution cylinders and five metal tanks of 10 tonnes each in a storehouse situated on Șoseaua Muncești St, IPN reports, with reference to the General Police Inspectorate.
The fuel from three tanks was already sold. 6.5 tonnes of diesel fuel were collected and seized from the other two tanks. The two men didn’t have permissive documents for performing such an activity and could also not present documents substantiating the inspection reports. The diesel fuel was sold for 17 lei a liter.
The men are investigated for illegal entrepreneurial activity, retailing of oil products in other places than filling stations and violation of the fuel storage rules.
The selling price of oil products has grown for a period. During a month, the price of diesel fuel rose by over 1 leu, while the price of gasoline by almost 2 lei.
