Diaspora urged to support country’s European course

The Government of Moldova encourages the Moldovans from abroad to create groups of support for the country’s European course and to organize cultural events to promote these groups in the towns where they live, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations.

On June 27, when Moldova will sign the Asocial Agreement with the European Union, the diaspora is invited to mark the event by flashmobbing.

The call for projects to the diaspora forms part of the campaign to promote Moldova’s integration into the EU entitled “Europe at Home”. It was launched by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca within the first online forum with the diaspora on May 27.
