Top managers in foreign companies and business people hailing from Moldova will come together on Sunday for the second Diaspora Business Forum, this year themed “Local Development Opportunities”.
The event will be also attended by government officials, including Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Economy Minister Octavian Calmic, as well as domestic business representatives.
The Diaspora Bureau says the forum aims to create business networks of excellence and engage the diaspora in advancing Moldova's economic growth.
The forum participants are expected to discuss the modernization of the agrifood and industrial sectors, investment projects in Moldova, and cooperation with domestic businesses.
The event is held as part of the Diaspora Days, organized by the State Chancellery's Diaspora Bureau with the support of partners.
