The Diaspora Business Forum 2024 – an event that aims to reduce the distance between the Moldovan citizens living abroad and the entrepreneurial and investment community in the country - will be held in Chisinau at the end of the third week of August. The forum is part of the Diaspora Days, IPN reports.
The Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă said that events dedicated to the Diaspora Days are organized traditionally at the end of the third week of August. The goal is to promote cultural and social dialogue, but also economic dialogue with the citizens abroad.
On August 17, the “See you at Home” festival will be held. This is an event at which representatives of the diaspora will have the opportunity to ask the authorities the questions that concern them, as well as to find out useful information about investments and financial support offered by the state to those who returned home.
The next day, within the Diaspora Days, the business forum for citizens living abroad will take place. “You will have the occasion to meet with experts from various fields, both from the country and abroad, to participate in networking, interaction, socialization sessions with people who managed to build and develop businesses. Also, the event will take place with the presence of officials, representatives of specialized institutions and partner organizations,” said Daniel Vodă.
According to him, the business forum will bring together innovation, entrepreneurship and investment under one roof. Admission to the event is free, but it is necessary to fill out a participation form.
