DGETS holds training seminars for deputy school heads
Schools in Chisinau do not keep electronic databases because not all of them have computers and not all the deputy principals responsible for such activities new how to use them. This problem was addressed on Wednesday at one of the training seminars which are to be held until the end on November.
“These seminars are meant to help the young deputy heads of schools to develop skills in drafting activity plans and establish methods of data keeping in education”, Valentina Cujba, deputy director of Chisinau's General Education Division (DGETS), told Info-Prim Neo.
Split into teams, the trainees tried to formulate proposals on how to better cooperate with the parents, on matters of children's rights, on extracurricular activities, etc.
At the same time, the participants discussed the legislation in the field, including the Education Code which is due to be considered in the current parliamentary session.
