A man aged 44 who served time in Penitentiary No. 15 in Cricova was found dead in the morning of February 9. The Department of Penitentiary Institutions said the man killed himself, IPN reports.
Specialists of the Forensic Medicine Center, who carried out examinations, found no injuries on his body, only traces on the neck.
The man was under the supervision of psychiatrists and representatives of the penitentiary said this repeatedly refused psychological assistance.
