A man attempted to illegally bring a commercial shipment of dental instruments worth over 900,000 lei into Moldova, IPN reports.

According to inspectors at the Leușeni customs post, the 49-year-old man was returning from Romania and declared that he only had personal belongings in his vehicle.

However, during a customs inspection, dental instruments were discovered hidden under the front and rear seats, among his personal belongings. The goods were seized, and law enforcement authorities will investigate the case.
