The Deputy Heads of the Latvian Parliament Inese Libina-Egnere and Andrejs Klementjevs are paying a visit to Moldova between October 15 and 18, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the legislature’s press service.

While in Chisinau, the Latvian MPs will have meetings with Deputy Parliament Speaker Liliana Palihovici, President Nicolae Timofti, Minister of Economy Andrian Candu, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iulian Groza.

The officials will also meet with the leaders of the parliamentary groups and members of the commission on foreign policy and European integration and of the parliamentary group of friendship with Latvia.

The Latvian lawmakers will also make a visit to Romanovca village of Basarabeasca district.
