Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu and Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will be paying a working visit to the United States during December 2-9, IPN reports.
The officials are scheduled to meet with U.S. senators and congressmen. They will also hold discussions with USAID Administrator Samantha Power and North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine F. Marshall.
The agenda of the visit also includes discussions with experts of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the International Republican Institute.
Traditionally, Igor Grosu and Mihai Popșoi will have meetings with Moldovan citizens settled in the U.S.
This year, the Republic of Moldova and North Carolina mark 25 years since the establishment of the cooperation partnership.
