Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will pay a working visit to the United States of America from March 29 to April 6, IPN reports.

On March 29, Mihai Popsoi will participate in the inauguration of the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Sacramento and will meet with members of the Moldovan community.

On the same day, the second Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in the U.S., the one in Chicago, will be officially opened. The event will also be attended by the Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu.

In Washington, the head of the Moldovan diplomatic service will have meetings with officials of the Department of State, the Congress and the National Security Council of the United States.

Mihai Popșoi will take part in a public debate organized by the think tank Atlantic Council, where he will talk about the Republic of Moldova's path of accession to the EU and the extension of the bilateral relations with the US.

On April 6, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with members of the Moldovan community in Orlando, Florida.
