Deputy minister of economy discharged
The Government Wednesday dismissed Deputy Minister of Economy Iarion Popa for the reason that he did not appropriately coordinate the singing of the contracts for the supply of power to Moldova for 2012, Info-Prim Neo reports.
By another decision, Deputy Minister of Health Viorel Soltan was discharged from the post based on his resignation. He will be replaced by Octavian Grama.
The executive also decided that Moldova’s Ambassador to France Oleg Serebrian will simultaneously work as Ambassador to Malta, with residence in Paris. Moldova’s Consul to Turkey Sergiu Goncherenko was recalled as his term in office expired. He will be substituted by Veaceslav Filip, the head of the Foreign Ministry’s Consular Division. The draft decisions on appointments and dismissal approved by the Government will be implemented on the basis of presidential decrees.
Also today, Andrei Juraveli was named as director of the Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources, while Olga Carma was appointed as head of the Comrat local office of the State Chancellery.
