The deputy head of the polling place established in Delacau village of Anenii Noi district died in the evening of November 12. The family doctor who stated the death said the man died as a result of a heart attack, president of the Central Election Commission Alina Russu told a news conference. The CEC members observed a moment’s silence in memory of this.

Contacted by IPN, head of the Anenii Noi District Electoral Council Dumitru Ciur said another deputy head wasn’t named. The polling place remained with eight members and the voting process goes smooth.
